I'd like to tell you that start from this week, I'm going to share everything about English. I hope by sharing it, I can memorize the English subject that I've ever learned. And, now, let's discuss about conjunction.
Hmm... We usually use this word or phrase when we speak. But, we sometimes feel confuse to put the words in the correct form. OK, let's start learning... :)
CONJUNCTION
1. Correlative Conjunction
Correlative conjunctions work in pairs to join words
and groups of words of equal weight in a sentence. There are six different
pairs of correlative conjunctions:
1.
either...or
2.
not only...but (also)
3.
neither...nor
4.
both...and
5.
whether...or
6.
just as...so
Examples:

You can either walk up or take the car.
·
Not only men but also women were chosen.
·
Neither the basketball team nor the football
team is doing well.
·
Both the cross country team and the
swimming team are doing well.
·
Whether you stay or you go, it's your
decision.
·
Just as many Americans love basketball, so many
Canadians love ice hockey.
2. Subordinating Conjunction
Subordnating conjunction is
conjunction that join an independent clause and a dependent clause, and also introduce
adverb clauses.

3. Coordinating Conjunction
Coordination conjunction is conjunctions
that join, or coordinate,
two or more items (such as words, main clauses, or sentences) of equal
syntactic importance.
